ireki
Basque
Etymology
Possibly from Proto-BasqueCategory:Basque terms inherited from Proto-Basque#IREKICategory:Basque terms derived from Proto-Basque#IREKI *e-re-ki.[1] But some dialectal forms have -d- so it might be from Proto-BasqueCategory:Basque terms inherited from Proto-Basque#IREKICategory:Basque terms derived from Proto-Basque#IREKI *e-de-ki. These both postulate use of a verb suffix -ki, but the k might be part of the root.
