Thanks and Category Fixing
Hi! Thanks for uploading those scans of book covers and dust jackets! They are really nice quality. When reviewing them I noticed that their categories could be enhanced for findability. For example, File:OzmaOfOz5thPrinting.jpg only had Category:Children's literature attached to it. And while not entirely inaccurate there are better categories to link out to. Included is the fact that a category for said book exists and is far more accurate to include. Category:Ozma of Oz. I'll go ahead and update the categories for the other uploads, and if you have any questions in the future when uploading please reach out. :) Best, SDudley (talk) 22:52, 3 November 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tips! I was thinking of updating the book cover image for https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Ruth_Plumly_Thompson_-_The_Yellow_Knight_of_Oz_(page_1_crop).jpg with a new scan that didn't crop off the T in "KNIGHT". Should I replace the image at that link, or upload a totally new file and just change the Wikipedia article image to display my new file? Mupept (talk) 17:17, 7 February 2026 (UTC)
