Hi ToprakM, as you created this template, are you aware to what article the link in the template-text labelled as "article 31 of the Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works of Turkey" actually links? Please correct this. --Túrelio (talk) 11:22, 6 December 2020 (UTC)
Hi, I was just reviewing your rename request on the file File:TAI, TC-VCH, TAI-HURKUS-A (34839092714).jpg and I notice that the image caption on the English Wikipedia denotes this as a Hurkus-C. Do you have any idea whether this is in fact a A or a C model? It seems the Hurkus-A was produced for civilian use while the Hurkus-C was produced for military use. TommyG (talk) 18:42, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
Thanks, that probably explains the confusion with the civilian registration number. I've renamed both of them. TommyG (talk) 18:57, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
Valued Image Promoted
★Your nomination has been reviewed and promoted★ Congratulations! The image you nominated was reviewed and has now been promoted as a valued image. Please link a relevant Commons category in your scope. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:28, 21 May 2021 (UTC)
Comment Thanks. But the category you link should house the nominated photo and all others photos in scope. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 20:24, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
Is not it? The plane in the photo is an F-15EX and this is F-15EX category. --ToprakM✉ 22:07, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
Yes because only one F-15EX model has been delivered yet, but more may be delivered in the future or various subcategories may be created (like top view of F-15EX). So keeping the scope as Category: 20-0001 (aircraft) can be very restrictive. --ToprakM✉ 22:52, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
OK. I'll look at all the photos in scope soon. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:43, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
Best in Scope, in my opinion, though I think it's arguable. I also think some more scopes are probably warranted - for example File:210311-F-AY943-017.jpg would be useful in a subscope of "underside". -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:03, 24 May 2021 (UTC)

Selamlar.

In September/October 2023,
virtually all Armenians fled Nagorno-Karabakh. Only 24 Armenians initially remained in Nagorno-Karabakh after their exodus in 2023. The Armenian Apostolic Church was extinguished on the territory of Azerbaijan and the breakaway Nagorno-Karabakh Republic ceased to exist the same year. In total, at most only a few hundred Armenians are left in Azerbaijan after their first exodus in 1990.

Thanks for uploading File:TURKISH AIRLINES AIRBUS A321NEO TC-LTM.jpg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.
Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

Announcing the Winners of Picture of the Year 2025!
Hi everyone,
Wikimedia Commons is pleased to finally announce the winners of this year's Picture of the Year 2025 contest! We had some truly incredible finalists to choose from, but the community has spoken.
Here are your top three winning images:
First place: The aftermath of an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City on October 9, 2023, leaving widespread destruction in the Rimal area. Attribution: WAFA (Q2915969) / CC-BY-SA 3.0
Second place: Baby cape fur seal (Arctocephalus pusillus) sleeping at Cape cross, Namibia. Attribution: Giles Laurent / CC-BY-SA 4.0
Third place: A gigantic jet photographed from the International Space Station by astronaut Nichole Ayers. Attribution: public domain
You can view the full results and see where all your favorite images placed here: Full 2025 Results
I also want to highlight what an incredible turnout we had. In the second round, we saw a massive jump in both the number of users voting and the total votes cast. We had exactly 13,979 votes cast by 3,509 users! To put that in perspective, last year we had 7,403 votes from 2,837 users. It is amazing to see that level of growth and community engagement.
Thank you to everyone who voted, helped organize, and generally made the contest such a huge success this year!
If you created this category, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for discussion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it. If the category is up for deletion because it has been superseded, consider the notion that although the category may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new category.
In all cases, please do not take the category discussion personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!
