@Asio otus, bei Bildern nur, wenn du sie aus der Wertung nehmen möchtest.

Die Idee der cat ist eigentlich, wenn du eine ganze Serie am Wettbewerb teilnehmen lassen willst, damit der wettbewerb viele Bilder hat, aber du nur zwei oder drei als die besten erkennst, dann bekommen die anderen diese cat. also wenn dein foto teilnehmen und bewertet werden soll, dann setz die prejury-cat nicht. :-) (ausnahme videos). Wiki Loves Earth 2024 - Deutschland

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. Mai bis zum 30. Juni 2024 findet zum zwölften Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Earth (kurz: WLE) statt. Dabei können wie immer Nationalparks, Naturschutzgebiete, Geotope und Naturdenkmäler oder andere Schutzgebiete fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich ein, auch dieses Jahr wieder mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Der Wettbewerb ist zweigeteilt, das heißt, wir unterscheiden zwischen den beiden Wettbewerbskategorien Landschaft und Detail/Makro. Zur Wettbewerbskategorie Landschaft zählen auch geschützte Einzelbäume. In der Wettbewerbskategorie Detail/Makro werden Pflanzen, Tiere und Pilze in den Schutzgebieten bewertet.

Es sind wie immer viele spannende Motive überall in Deutschland zu finden. Neben Naturdenkmälern wie alten Bäumen oder Naturparks im Gebirge und am Meer können Geotope wie Findlinge, Quellen und Aufschlüsse oder FFH-Gebiete fotografiert werden, um sie unter anderem in der Wikipedia zu dokumentieren. Auch im vergangenen Jahr sind zahlreiche neue Listen und Artikel in diesen Bereichen entstanden, die sich über Fotos freuen – zum Beispiel in Bayern die Liste der Naturdenkmäler im Landkreis Landshut oder die Liste der geschützten Landschaftsbestandteile in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern mit ihren Unterlisten oder gar einzelne Artikel wie die Landschaftsschutzgebiete Sommerschafweide an Buchhalden und Sommerschafweide auf Hilbertswiese in Baden-Württemberg.

Wir vergeben in diesem Jahr drei Sonderpreise für Fotos von Feldrainen und Feldgehölzen in geschützten Gebieten.

Damit es ab 1. Mai mit dem Upload schnell geht:

Damit bewertest du die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelst so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die Anfang August tagen wird, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Earth 2024 in Deutschland. Das Vorjurytool ist bald hier freigeschaltet. Du benötigst dafür nur deinen Benutzernamen und Passwort.

Hallo Z_thomas, Dein Foto zeigt leider nicht die berühmte Königseiche in der Dubrow, sondern eine andere Eiche in Dannenreich. Wie Du in der Bildbeschreibung richtigerweise erläutert hattest, müsste diese Eiche im Wald stehen. Deine Eiche steht aber auf einem Grünstreifen zwischen Gehweg und Straßenfahrbahn. Ein rechtes Schelmenstück also, Dein Foto... Ich habe einmal kleinere Korrekturen vorgenommen. Das Foto muss jedoch unbedingt unbenannt werden, um hier niemanden aufs Glatteis der „Alternativen Fakten“ zu führen. Leider habe ich dafür nicht die entsprechenden Rechte. Gruß J.-H. Hallo Z thomas,

wenn ein Benutzer innerhalb der üblichen 7-Tages-Frist (oder auch knapp darüber) eine selbst hochgeladene Datei löschen lassen will, hinterfrage ich das normalerweise nicht, das ist mir zu viel Aufwand. Hier geht es darum, dass eindeutige Schnelllöschfälle, die sich in den regulären Löschanträgen versteckt halten, zeitnahe abgearbeitet werden. Manche wollen die Datei dann neu hochladen oder haben sie schon unter anderem Namen neu hochgeladen, da schaue ich nicht jedes Mal nach, was Sache ist. Bei frisch hochgeladenen Dateien sind auch keine massenhaften externen Links zu erwarten, die gegen ein Löschen sprechen, und falls doch noch nötig ist die Datei schnell wiederhergestellt. Ach stimmt, das ist ja gar keine Schildkröte. Vermutlich habe ich das nicht hochgeladen, weil ich auch nicht weiß, was das sein soll. Von der merkwürdigen Körperhaltung mal abgesehen.

Ich schau in sehr unregelmäßigen abständen in den Bildhauercats und in den Skultpurencats der großen ostdeutsche Städte nach, ob es gleich motive gibt. und in Frankfurt und Berlin hatte ich vor zwei jahren bereits den Hasen mit guter Beschreibung gefunden, hab mich an das viech erinnert und einfach übertragen :-) Category:Hasensäule (Peter Fritzsche)

Sächsische Schweiz Oktober 2022

Guten Tag Thomas,

ich bin auf deine Bilder vom Elbsandsteingebirge im Oktober 2022 gestoßen. Leider ist mir aufgefallen, dass zu den Bildern kaum aussagekräftige Beschreibungen existierten und die Koordinaten häufig falsch sind, bzw. sich alle auf exakt den gleichen Punkt auf einem Feld in der Nähe von Krippen bezieht. Wiki Loves Monuments 2024 - Deutschland

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2024 findet zum 14. Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) statt. Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Vergangenes Jahr hat Rolf Kranz mit einer Winteransicht der Marksburg und der Schornsteine der Blei- und Silberhütte Braubach gewonnen. Welcher Fotograf oder welche Fotografin tritt dieses Jahr die Nachfolge an?

Nach WLM 2023 sind wieder zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden – zum Beispiel in Schenkenzell in Baden-Württemberg oder in Oyten in Niedersachsen.

Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Für das einfache Auffinden haben wir eine Upload-Karte erstellt, in der viele aber leider noch nicht alle Kulturdenkmale angezeigt werden können. Das Laden der Objekte dauert dort etwas.

Wir haben dieses Jahr drei Sonderpreise für Bilder zum Thema „Kinderwelten“ ausgelobt. Zugelassen sind für den Sonderpreis auch Fotos von Bauwerken, die nicht denkmalgeschützt sind. Dieser Sonderpreis wird gemeinsam mit dem Klexikon vergeben.

Damit es ab 1. September mit dem Upload schnell geht:

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, ab Anfang September 2024 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die Anfang November tagen wird, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2024 in Deutschland. Das Vorjurytool ist hier bald freigeschaltet. Du benötigst dafür nur deinen Benutzernamen und das Passwort.

Nun, ich weiß ja nicht, was für Benutzerlisten du da abarbeitest. Ich finde es nur seltsam, dass darunter einige verstorbene oder global ausgeschlossene User dabei sind, während wiederum aktive, in Vergangenheit an WLM/WLE Teilgenommene nicht (und nein keine Sorge, ich für meinen Teil brauche keine Einladung). Das nervt und ist schon des öfteren passiert. Ich kann weder ukrainisch noch kyrillisch und werde bestimmt kein Foto aus der Ukraine beisteuern. Anscheinend senden die ihre Massenmitteilung an alle Teilnehmer von WLM. Meine Wenigkeit ist wahrscheinlich auf der Liste, weil ich ein bisschen beim Kategorisieren etc. von ukrainischen WLE/WLM-Beiträgen geholfen habe und einige Bilder als Featured Pictures nominiert habe. Daher möchte ich für meinen Teil auch gerne auf der Liste bleiben ;–) und fühle mich durch diese Nachrichten sehr geehrt – sozusagen als „Teilnehmer ehrenhalber“. Seht das doch auch so ;–). Guten Morgen, liebe Kollegen Z thomas, AxelHH und Aristeas: Der Benutzer Antanana hat bereits gestern Abend reagiert und meinen Benutzernamen zu einer Opt-Out Kategorie hinzugefügt (Opted-out of message delivery for Wiki Loves Monuments Ukraine). Eigentlich sind die ukrainischen Benachrichtigungen interessant, aber in letzter Zeit habe ich mir gedacht, dass ich sie nicht wirklich brauche, weil ich auch ohne sie auf dem Laufenden bin, wenn die Wettbewerbe in verschiedenen Ländern beginnen. Aus diesem Grund habe ich mich entschieden, mich von der Informationsliste abzumelden. Abgesehen von hypothetischen Wettkämpfen, die Aristeas erwähnt, interessiere ich mich für alle Fotowettbewerbe. Rückfrage zu Deinen Ergänzungen bei Templates zu Landkreisen in Thüringen

Hallo Z thomas - ich bin erfreut, das Du die Mühe auf Dich genommen hast und einige der Templates zu den Thüringer Landkreisen erstellt hast. Das ist die Grundlage für weitere Ausbauten in den Kategorien. Da gibt es aber auch schwierige Fälle und bin gerade mit einem Problem konfrontiert, dazu brauche ich mal eine zweite ... dritte Meinung als Wegweiser: Wir haben in Commons diverse Festlegungen und Vorschläge, wie Ortsnamen zu ergänzen sind. Bei mehrdeutigen Orten im WAK habe ich immer die deutsche Schreibweise gewählt also Seebach (Wartburgkreis), Leimbach (Thüringen) ect. Bei der Kreisstadt Altenburg findet sich gerade Altenburg (Thüringen) - Altenburg (Thuringia) und, weil die Kreisstadt Altenburg bedeutsam ist, einfach nur Altenburg. Jede der drei Schreibweisen hat eine Berechtigung, aber welche würdest Du empfehlen? Das wird ja beim Eintrag in Templates dann als Standardwert für alle später erzeugten Kategorien verwendet werden, folglich braucht es nur eine Version. Was meinst Du? Ich hab Altenburg erst mal auf Eis gelegt, bis das Problem gelöst ist. Inzwischen hat auch ein Einheimscher? leider nur als IP-Adresse Anfang der Woche etwas begonnen, der hat aber seine Datei anders benannt. Das kann man ja austauschen. ... Hmm... die Templates hab ich vor ner Weile erstellt. Ich hab mich meist an bestehenden orientiert. Sinnvoll ist aus meiner Sicht, wenn innerhalb eines Projekts alle gleich bezeichnet ist. Commons und WP müssen nicht gleichlauten aber es ist natürlich besser.

Hallo Z thomas - ich melde mich noch mal mit einer Frage, ich bin in den letzten Tagen auch Dank Deiner umfangreichen Vorarbeit mit den Templates zu allen Landkreisen fertig geworden und nun sind noch die Stadtkreise an der Reihe. Dank der Hilfe von TripleC85 sind Suhl und Jena schon in "Sack und Tüten" - aber nun wird es schwierig: Erfurt als Großstadt ist in der Stadtteilliste ziemlich zersplittert und bei Gera ist es ähnlich. Es wird sicher ziemlich umständlich sein, die unter Erfurt abgelegten Bilder in solche Stadtteil-Kategorien wie "Berliner Platz" - "Moskauer Platz" - "Sulzer Siedlung" - usw. in der Kernstadt Erfurt zu trennen, das sind z.T. Plattenbauviertel - die sehen sich alle sehr ähnlich. Was meinst Du?

Bei Weimar ist eine Liste in der Wikipedia als Menüeband Stadtteil von Weimar in der Wikipedia vorhanden, bei Erfurt gibt es das nicht. Die Geraer Liste der Stadt und Ortsteile ist mit 62 separaten Einträgen - meist Weiler - auch eine Herausforderung. Was meinst Du? Bei Gera volle Liste oder nur die Hauptnamen - ergo "Falka" allein statt "Großfalka", "Kleinf...", "Wüstf..".

Quasi als Musterbeispiel kann man nun schon bei den thüringer Kulturdenkmalen auf der Kreisebene beliebig hin und her schalten und man hat sofort die jeweils vorhandenen Gemeinden auf der Kreisebene präsent. Darunter liegende Ebenen - z.B. Schlösser, Kirchen, Kriegerdenkmale sind zukünftig auch noch zu verbinden, das geht auch nach dem gleichen Strickmuster. Bin gespannt, wie weit wir bis zum Jahresende kommen, da sind Außentermine für mich im Schmuddelwetter eher selten. @EACC80 Ich tu mich immer schwer mit der Aufteilung nach Ortsteilen in großen städten, weil die grenzen oft nicht verständlich und sichtbar sind. ich bin da also ein schlechte Hilfe.

ich bin gerade beim Ergänzen von Wegweisersteinen in Langenwolmsdorf. Da ist mir aufgefallen, dass der Wegestein an der Kreuzung Neustädter Straße zu S161 in der Kategorie Category:Wegweiserstein Langenwolmsdorf eingeordnet ist. Nun habe ich das Problem, dass es in Langenwolmsdorf mehrere Wegesteine an unterschiedlichen Positionen bereits gibt. Im Ort Langenwolmsdorf selbst sind mir 2 bekannt, im Umfeld weitere. Die zwei im Ort Langenwolmsdorf lassen sich aber nicht in die Category:Wegweiserstein Langenwolmsdorf einordnen. Besteht die Möglichkeit diese Kategorie Category:Wegweiserstein Langenwolmsdorf für die Wegesteine an der Neustädter Landstraße/S 161 zu präzisieren oder alternativ als übergeordnete Kategorie für alle Wegesteine in Langenwolmsdorf zu verwenden? Dann sollte diese Kategorie vielleicht in die Mehrzahlform umbenannt werden? Wie ist hierzu deine Meinung?

@Rigorius danke für die Nachfrage :-) ich halte eine einzelne Cat für jeden Wegweiserstein für sinnvoll. Aus diesem Grund kann die cat verschoben werden. nun im Ort Langenwolmsdorf selbst gibt es 2 Steine an der Hauptstraße File:Wegweisersäule Langenwolmsdorf Hauptstr-50 20241205 112926.jpg und dann auch File:Wegweisersäule Langenwolmsdorf Prokoph 260.jpg da wird noch jeweils eine Kategorie demnächst werden. An der Neustädter Landstraße (außerhalb des Ortes Langenwolmsdorf) sind auch 2 Steine, 1x hier Category:Wegweiserstein Neustädter Landstraße/K8726 (Langenwolmsdorf) und dieser Stein Category:Wegweiserstein Langenwolmsdorf. Da ist eine neue Kategorie "Category:Wegweiserstein Langenwolmsdorf (Neustädter Landstraße)" vielleicht noch zu allgemein. Tatsächlich steht ja der Stein an der Kreuzung Neustädter Landstraße zur S161. Vielleicht ist das eine mögliche Unterscheidung zum Stein Category:Wegweiserstein Neustädter Landstraße/K8726 (Langenwolmsdorf) der ja auch an der gleichen Landstraße aber an einer anderen Position ist?

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. Februar bis zum 31. März 2025 findet zum zweiten Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Folklore (kurz: WLF) in Deutschland statt. Mögliche Motive sind gelebte Traditionen wie Feste, Aufführungen, Tänze, Musiktradition, Brauchtum, Spiele, Küche, Tracht, Märchen und Sagen. Viele dieser Kulturgüter sind als Immaterielles Kulturerbe gemäß der UNESCO-Konvention anerkannt. Du hast vergangenes Jahr teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich ein, auch dieses Jahr wieder mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Der englische Begriff Folklore umfasst vieles, was man im Deutschen unter Folklore versteht, aber er geht noch weiter. Schau nach gelebten Traditionen und Bräuchen in deiner Nähe.

Es sind wie immer viele spannende Motive überall in Deutschland zu finden. Neben Festen sind es Handwerkstraditionen oder Gerichte und Getränke, die auf Fotos von dir warten. Als Orientierung helfen das Bundesweite Verzeichnis des immateriellen Kulturerbes oder Landeslisten wie das Inventar des immateriellen Kulturerbes von Nordrhein-Westfalen oder das Landesverzeichnis Immaterielles Kulturerbe Thüringen. Es fehlen unter anderem Bilder vom Barther Kinderfest, Taubenmarkt in Dermbach, Grasedanz im Harz, Bergsteigen in Sachsen, der Fertigung von Flachglas im Mundblasverfahren, der Fastnacht an der Saar und vom Viezen oder vom Tanz Zwiefacher.

Unter Events haben wir eine kleine Übersicht mit Veranstaltungen in Deutschland, die zum Immateriellen Kulturerbe gehören. Vielleicht findest du dort auch Motive für das nächste Jahr.

Wir vergeben in diesem Jahr drei Sonderpreise für Videos und Audiodateien, da sich viele Traditionen gut im Video oder per Tonaufnahme darstellen lassen.

Als Einstieg für die Suche nach Motiven hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Dort sind die nationalen Listen des immateriellen Kulturerbes aufgeführt.

Damit es ab 1. Februar mit dem Upload schnell geht:

Außerdem laden wir dich ein, vom 15. Februar bis Ende April 2025 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Damit bewertest du die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelst so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die Ende Mai tagen wird, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Folklore 2025 in Deutschland. Das Vorjurytool ist bald hier freigeschaltet. Du benötigst dafür nur deinen Benutzernamen und Passwort.

Einladung zu Wiki Loves Earth 2025 in Deutschland

Hallo Z thomas,

auch in diesem Jahr beginnt am 1. Mai wieder der regionale Wettbewerb von Wiki Loves Earth (WLE) in Deutschland und läuft bis zum 30. Juni. Dabei können wie immer Nationalparks, Naturschutzgebiete, Landschaftsschutzgebiete und Naturdenkmäler oder andere Schutzgebiete fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich ein, auch dieses Jahr wieder mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Der Wettbewerb ist zweigeteilt, das heißt, wir unterscheiden zwischen den beiden Wettbewerbskategorien Landschaft und Detail/Makro. Zur Wettbewerbskategorie Landschaft zählen auch geschützte Einzelbäume. In der Wettbewerbskategorie Detail/Makro werden Pflanzen, Tiere und Pilze in den Schutzgebieten bewertet.

Es sind wie immer viele spannende Motive überall in Deutschland zu finden. Neben als Naturdenkmal geschützten alten Bäumen oder den großen Nationalparks der Mittelgebirge und am Meer können auch kleine städtische Landschaftsschutzgebiete dokumentiert werden. Zu über 16.000 Naturdenkmalen und mehreren tausend Schutzgebieten haben wir noch keine Fotos. Wo noch Fotos fehlen, kannst du über die Karte oder die umfangreichen Listen in Wikipedia herausfinden.

In diesem Jahr wollen wir auch einen Fokus auf Geotope, wie Findlinge, Quellen oder Aufschlüsse, legen. Hierfür gibt es drei Sonderpreise zum Thema Geodiversität.

Damit es ab 1. Mai mit dem Upload schnell geht:

Außerdem laden wir dich ein, vom 15. Mai bis voraussichtlich Ende Juli an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Damit bewertest du die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelst so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die Ende August tagen wird, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Earth 2025 in Deutschland.

@Triplec85 ich glaube in Brandenburg an der Havel wird der feiertag am Sonntag danach gefeiert. ansonsten sind mir keine prozessionen bekannt.

Wiki Loves Earth 2025 – Deutschland – Vielen Dank für deine Teilnahme

Hallo Z thomas,

der Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Earth 2025 in Deutschland ist beendet. Im Rahmen der Kampagne haben 350 Teilnehmende 13.497 Fotos hochgeladen, die bereits über 1.000 Artikel in über 40 Wikipedia-Sprachversionen und Einträge auf Wikidata bebildern. Sämtliche Ergebnisse kannst du hier ansehen.

Um aus diesen Beiträgen die besten Fotos zu finden, läuft bis zum 16. August die Vorjury. Über Unterstützung bei dieser würden wir uns sehr freuen.

Die Siegerfotos werden voraussichtlich am 1. September verkündet.

Am 1. September 2025 startet zudem der Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments rund um Kultur- und Baudenkmäler. Fotografiere dafür jetzt schon die passenden Motive.

Wiki Loves Monuments 2025 Deutschland

Hallo Z thomas,

bald ist es soweit: Vom 1. bis zum 30. September 2025 findet zum 15. Mal der internationale Wettbewerb Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM) statt. Dabei können Bau-, Boden- und Kulturdenkmale fotografiert und die Fotos hochgeladen werden. Du hast an einem der vergangenen Fotowettbewerbe teilgenommen. Deshalb laden wir dich gern wieder ein, dieses Jahr mitzumachen. Wir freuen uns auf deine Fotos!

Vergangenes Jahr hat GPSLeo mit dem Verladeturm Oderhafen Groß Neuendorf während eines Hochwassers gewonnen. Welcher Fotograf oder welche Fotografin tritt dieses Jahr die Nachfolge an?

Nach WLM 2024 sind wieder zahlreiche neue Denkmallisten entstanden – zum Beispiel in Greiz in Thüringen oder in Königslutter am Elm in Niedersachsen. Nachdem es in Thüringen über lange Zeit nicht überall Kulturdenkmallisten gab, ist dieses Bundesland jetzt fast vollständig abgedeckt und die Listen freuen sich über Fotos. Hier findest du einen Einstieg in die Thüringer Listen.

Für die Suche nach Motiven gibt es bei Wikipedia zahlreiche Listen und Karten. Als Einstieg hilft diese Übersichtsseite. Weitere Informationen erhältst du auf der Mitmach-Seite.

Für das einfache Auffinden haben wir eine Upload-Karte erstellt, in der viele aber leider noch nicht alle Kulturdenkmale angezeigt werden können. Das Laden der Objekte dauert dort etwas.

Wir haben dieses Jahr drei Sonderpreise für Bilder zum Thema „Bauernhöfe und Bauernhäuser“ ausgelobt.

Damit es ab 1. September mit dem Upload schnell geht:

Außerdem laden wir Dich ein, ab Anfang September 2025 an der Vorjury teilzunehmen. Diese bewertet die hochgeladenen Bilder und ermittelt so gemeinsam mit der Jury, die Anfang November tagen wird, die Sieger von Wiki Loves Monuments 2025 in Deutschland. Das Vorjurytool ist hier bald freigeschaltet. Du benötigst dafür nur deinen Benutzernamen und das Passwort.
